Herbed Citrus Salmon

Marinated Salmon Ingredients

  • 2 6oz-8oz pieces Salmon Filets
  • 1/2 Cup (reserve 1 tsp) of 1 Orange, juiced
  • 1 sprig bruised Fresh Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt

Directions

  1. Assemble all ingredients.
  2. In a shallow container stir together orange juice, thyme and Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt until salt is dissolved.
  3. Dress/ coat each piece with the marinade.
  4. Leave salmon skin side up in the shallow pan. Cover with plastic wrap
  5. Refrigerate to marinate for 30 minutes.
  6. While salmon is marinating assemble the Citrus Herbed Butter.

Citrus Herbed Butter Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1/4 tsp Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Orange Zest, fresh
  • 1 tsp Thyme, fresh leaves only
  • 1 tsp Rosemary, fresh leaves, rough chopped
  • 1 tbsp Italian Parsley, leaves rough chopped
  • 1 tsp Orange Juice

Directions

  1. Assemble all ingredients.
  2. Combine all ingredients together well to form a well-blended spreadable paste.
  3. Set aside in fridge.

Assembly Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt
  • Citrus Herbed Butter

Directions

  1. Assemble all ingredients.
  2. Remove salmon from marinade & lightly dry off fish with a paper towel.
  3. Place fish on baking pan; drizzle with olive oil to coat fish pieces.
  4. Place fish, skin side down, under preheated broiler for approx. 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from broiler; place on serving plate.
  6. Top each piece of fish with 1 tsp of Citrus Herbed butter.
  7. Garnish each piece of fish with 1/8 tsp of Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt.
  8. Serve immediately.
